Benefits of using Le Baby as a breastfeeding tracker

Side reminder timer. Le Baby has a breastfeeding timer at hand as soon as the app is launched. It reminds you which side was given last during the previous feeding, and can be started with a single tap.

Use it with one hand. By placing most buttons in the bottom part of the screen, and by letting users open the menu by pulling the journal down, we made sure parents could record breastfeeding sessions with just one free hand. Editing time is also possible using the thumb with our custom component replacing the native vertical wheels which can be cumbersome to use sometimes.

This is what the timer looks like when it’s running and recording the left breast duration. From there it’s possible to switch to the right breast, or to pause it, then save the session.

The breastfeeding entry accessible from the menu lets you add a session without using the timer. Adjust the duration for each breast before declaring which side was last (so you get the side reminder from the timer for the next session), adjust the time if needed, and save.

The breastfeeding chart shows the evolution of the total daily duration day after day, or the evolution of the daily average duration week after week. It’s possible to display duration evolution for each breast in context with the other one, and the duration for both.

The daily routine breastfeeding chart shows the evolution of when breastfeeding occurred during the day, day after day.

The weekly routine breastfeeding chart shows the evolution of the moments breastfeeding mostly occurred during the day, week after week.
