Journal sharing between partners
It’s easy to stay in sync with Le Baby
Sharing your baby’s latest informations with your partner can really improve your daily life as a parent in the first few weeks. Anytime you add an entry, it is synced within seconds to all participants of your baby journal.
For couples who take shifts to take care of their baby, it means that if their partner is sleeping when it’s their turn to take over, they can grab their phone and know how the last hours went by themselves, without disturbing a much needed nap.
No email, no password
Based on iCloud, it works by sending a link to a future participant in the baby journal. Le Baby doesn’t ask for your email (no spam to clean up), you don’t need to store another password, and all the data stays within iCloud.
From the journal settings, tap the invite button. It will guide you to the iOS share sheet where you’ll pick the contact you want to add, or an app to send the link with.
What you add is yours, not ours
Because it’s using iCloud, and because we enabled end-to-end encryption during transfer, the data remains totally private. By design, we at Le Baby HQ can’t see what is shared, and who shares with whom. We really think this is none of our business. So if you wish to use Le Baby notes to document what happens – be it great moments, intimate or medical observations – you have the freedom to do so without having second thoughts about who might come across your notes.
Benefits of using Le Baby as a baby tracker app
Ease of use: very legible in all situations, usable with just one hand.
Automatic night mode: a very dark theme is activated to prevent dazzling.
Privacy: Le Baby doesn't access or collect user data in any way.
Multiple color themes: making good choices is what parents do.
Ready for twins or more: a swipe is all you need to switch profiles.
Sharing FAQs
Can every invitee add entries when I pay the app?
No, and possibly yes.
When you share the journal, it doesn’t send the in-app-purchase you made to your invitees. The only way to share your in-app-purchase with someone else is to set up Apple’s Family Sharing (with up to 5 other AppleID accounts), and choose the compatible in-app-purchase in Le Baby.
Up until the journal reaches the 100 entries limit, any number of participants can add entries for free. After the 100th entry, only the participants who have made an in-app-purchase (directly or through Family Sharing) can keep adding entries.
Does it work on Android?
No, sorry, Le Baby isn’t available on Android for now.
