Le Baby has great baby charts

Le Baby has legible and insightful charts for parents with newborns, exportable with a single tap to be shared and stored. Daily and weekly scales for growth of course, but also for feeding and sleeping entries for parents who feel the need to get some perspective about these. Routine charts present an overview of how their baby’s feeding and sleeping habits change overtime, and materialise trends that would be difficult to spot otherwise.

Benefits of using Le Baby for baby charts

Legible. Most baby tracker apps will display charts, but we made the effort to add clarity to make data you record more insightful.

Image export. A single tap is all you need to start sharing any chart if you wish to.

Made for spreadsheet lovers. If our charts aren’t cutting it for you, you can export all records as a csv file, and build your own ones.

Use it with one hand. By placing most buttons in the bottom part of the screen, and by letting users open the menu by pulling the journal down, we made sure parents could record temperature with just one free hand. Editing time is also possible using the thumb with our custom component replacing the native vertical wheels which can be cumbersome to use sometimes.

Shared. With journal sharing over iCloud, both parents get the update on their device as soon as it’s added. This happens using iCloud, so it’s easy to set up and completely private.

Weight. It presents entries for weight with percentiles from the World Health Organisation. Tapping the weight value on top toggles units from kilograms to pounds.

Height. It presents entries for height with percentiles from the World Health Organisation. Tapping the height value on top toggles units from centimetres to inches.

Head circumference. It presents entries for head size with percentiles from the World Health Organisation. Tapping the height value on top toggles units from centimetres to inches.

Instant export. It’s possible to generate an image from any of the charts in Le Baby with a single tap. They’re always presenting all the recorded values, not just what’s displayed on screen. You can then store and share them if you wish to.

Bottle feeding. This is the daily evolution of milk fed in a day since records started.

Sleep. Here you can see the evolution of the maximum amount of time this baby has been sleeping over time. The long road to full nights.

Sleep and bottle routine. This shows when sleep and bottle feedings happened during the day, day after day.

Instant export. This graph tells the story of your first weeks with your baby: when feeding and sleeping happened, day after day. It’s a keeper.

What are percentiles?

They let you know how you baby compares to most babies on earth. If your baby’s weight is inside the 70 percentile range, it means that your baby’s weight is comparable to 70 babies out of 100 of the same age. If your baby’s weight is above the 94 percentile range, it means that there are only 3 babies (100 minus 94, divided by 2 because we’re only looking at the ones above) out of a 100 who have a similar weight at the same age.
